Bid documents will available as from Wednesday, 01 October 2018 from the Cashiers office, uMzinyathi District Municipality, at 39 Victoria Street, Dundee, 3000 upon payment of a non-refundable cost of R500.00.

SUBMISSION OF TENDERS

The completed tender documents complying with all conditions of the tender must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the relevant “TENDER NUMBER” and must be deposited in the official tender box located at the reception area of the uMzinyathi District Municipality at 39 Victoria Street, Dundee, 3000. The closing date for all tenders is 26 October 2018 at 12H00 pm which will be followed by a public opening.

Bids will be evaluated and adjudicated in terms of the Umzinyathi District Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy in two stages. First stage of evaluation is functionality and the second stage being 80/20 preferential procurement point system. Only bidders who score the required minimum threshold on functionality criteria will qualify for second stage.

Late bids or bids received by way of post, facsimile or e-mail will, under no circumstances be considered. UMzinyathi District Municipality is not obliged to appoint the lowest bid and further reserves the right not to proceed herein and further reserves the right not to accept any bid or part therefore.
