T 2019-24 MAKHABELENI WATER SUPPLY SCHEME PHASE 6 ZONE E-F

Umzinyathi District Municipality hereby invites suitable, qualified and experienced service providers for the above project.

Only Bidders who are registered with the CIDB or are capable of registering prior to the closing date of the bid in a contractor registration equal to or higher than 7CE , and have successfully completed within the contractual duration 3 or more projects of a similar nature to the scope of work in this bid, will be eligible to bid.

Bid Specification Documents will be available from Monday, 19 November 2018 from the offices of the Cashier at Umzinyathi District Municipality, Princess Magogo Building, 39 Victoria Street, Dundee upon payment of a non-refundable cash deposit of R500. Bid documents will not be available at the site inspection meeting.

A compulsory briefing will be held at 10am at the Kwasenge Community Hall

(Co-ordinates 28°48'28.23"S, 30°46'25.63"E)on Wednesday, 21 November 2018. Details of the routes to site are included in the CD Annexure.

Sealed bid endorsed “Invitation to Bid No. T2019-24 Makhabeleni Community Water Supply Scheme Phase 6A: Zones E-F” must be submitted into the Bid Box situated at the Security Desk, Ground Floor of Princess Magogo Building, 39 Victoria Street, Dundee 3000 on or before the closingdate Monday, 14 December 2018

Bids will be evaluated and adjudicated in terms of the Umzinyathi District Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy on the 80:20 preference point scoring system. Umzinyathi District Municipality subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 (Act No. 5 of 2000).
