The UMZINYATHI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY

hereby invites suitable, qualified and experienced service providers for the following projects:

Bid documents must be collected during working hours as from 08h00 on Tuesday, 09 April 2019 at Umzinyathi District Municipal Offices, Princess Magogo Building, 39 Victoria Street, Dundee, 3000. No documents will be distributed at the tender briefing meeting.A non-refundable tender deposit of R500.00 payable in cash is required on collection of the tender documents.

Compulsory tender briefing meetings will be conducted by the Engineer on Friday, 12 April 2019, meeting at the Nquthu Local Municipality offices parking area at 10h00.Prospective Tenderers that do not attend the meeting or attend without a tender document will be disqualified.

The tender will be evaluated on a 80/20 preferential procurement system. To be eligible to for evaluation, Tenderers must score a minimum of 60% for functionality as detailed in the Tender Data. Tenderer who wish to claim any preference points must ensure an original or certified copy of the company’s BBBEE level status verification certificate is submitted together with the tender document.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.

Tenders are to be completed in accordance with the conditions attached to the documents and must be sealed and endorsed with the relevant contract number and description and must be personally deposited in the official tender box in the foyer of the Umzinyathi District Municipal Offices, Princess Magogo Building, 39 Victoria Street, DUNDEE, not later than 12h00 on Friday, 03 May 2019, at which time tenders will be opened in public.Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days.

Telegraphic, telexed or faxed tenders will not be considered and late bids will not be accepted. The Umzinyathi District Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
