REQUIREMENTS : The incumbent must have Grade 12 Secretarial or Office Administration Diploma, at least 2 years experience performing functions associated with the post. Computer literacy, fluency in IsiZulu and English and a Driver’s license are some of the requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

·Attending to queries related to the operations of the SCM Unit

·Updating suppliers’ details on the database

·Capturing of all purchase requests received by the SCM Unit

·Setting up meetings upon requests and invitation of the required parties.

·Recording details of discussions and the meeting and preparing and drafting minutes for perusal and confirmation prior to circulation.

·Attending to the filing of confidential, general documentation and correspondence.

·Processing requests for bookings and travelling arrangements for the entire municipality,

·Submission of invoices and supporting documents for payment processing.

·Performing a Receptionists functions for the SCM section.
